I grew up surrounded by threads, tools, and creativity. My mother, with a kitchen knife in hand, would take apart watches, irons, and hair dryers… and somehow make them work again. Even though she worked outside the home and had little time, she always found a moment to knit, sew, or upcycle a piece of furniture. I suppose my passion for DIY and recycling runs in my blood. Author of the ebook: “La revolución de las costuras imperfectas". An introduction to sustainable fashion, a guide to help your wardrobe move toward sustainability, and 20 new tutorials for customizing your clothes. You can download it at my Web.

My upcycling is neither patchwork nor functional recycling; it is intentional design. A handcrafted, narrative, and emotional process that fuses two forgotten garments — flawed or surplus — into unique pieces with elevated aesthetic and symbolic value.
